Antique carved wooden mirror – Art Nouveau style

Charming antique mirror in finely carved solid wood, probably made in the late 19th century or early 20th century. The frame features a relief decoration of plant motifs composed of scrolls, foliage, and stylised flowers, in a provincial Art Nouveau style. The lines are soft and organic, with a lovely deep carving that adds character without weighing down the overall appearance. The warm tone of the wood highlights the reliefs and gives the piece a strong decorative presence, ideal for an entrance, above a chest of drawers, or integrated into a wall of frames. The glass appears old and shows slight pitting and signs of age, consistent with the piece's age, which enhances its authenticity. The back is made of an old nailed panel, with the original hanging system. Dimensions: H 49 X W 39 cm. Condition: Good overall condition. Light signs of use and small irregularities related to age.
