Adjustable piano stool, Napoleon III in carved walnut and floral canvas, late 19th century. • Structure: in walnut (probably), with four curved and carved legs, original dark patina. • Seat: entirely made by an upholsterer with horsehair and springs, covered with a delicate floral canvas, in soft tones, showing some traces of time. • Adjustable in height: functional mechanism, but in the highest position the seat has a slight play (lateral mobility). Stable in the middle and low position. • General condition: beautiful vintage condition, with signs of wear consistent with its age, on the fabric as on the wood, without structural fragility.
