Adjustable piano stool, Napoleon III style in carved walnut and floral canvas, late 19th century. • Structure: in walnut (probably), with four curved and carved legs, original dark patina. • Seat: entirely made by an upholsterer with horsehair and springs, covered with delicate floral canvas in soft tones, showing some signs of age. • Height adjustable: functional mechanism, but in the highest position the seat has a slight play (lateral movement). Stable in medium and low positions. • General condition: beautiful vintage condition, with wear consistent with its age, on both the fabric and the wood, without structural fragility.
