Travertine lamp with round linen shade. Europe, circa 1990. Table lamp consisting of a cylindrical base made of natural travertine, with a raw surface retaining the characteristic veins and pores of the stone. Silver metal stem with E27 socket. This lamp base evokes Italian productions from the 1970s, in the style of publishers like Raymor or Fratelli Mannelli. Round cushion-shaped shade — known as melon or lantern — in contemporary natural ecru linen. White cable with inline switch, European plug. Total height: 55 cm (including height of the base with socket: 37 cm; height of the shade alone: 24 cm). Total diameter: 30 cm (including diameter of the base: 8 cm; height of the shade: 30 cm). Excellent overall condition. Shade is new.
