Lithography engraving vintage exotic birds

Beautiful colorful engraving dating from about 1850. Here the kakatos and the green parrot (very rare). The vegetal background behind the kakatos is remarkable. Original very well preserved. The beautiful illustrated subjects of these period editions are becoming rare now. Chic in the finesse of typography and engraving strokes. The colors are original, black engraving enhanced in hand colors at the time. We must keep in mind that this document has gone through at least 170 years; yet it is in very good condition. Very elegant once framed. 17.5 X 27.5 cm.
