Chinese commode carved from camphor wood

We are delighted to offer for sale this superb Chinese export chest of drawers from 1900-1920 made of camphor wood, which is part of a set. The piece is finely carved with a patinated original paint finish. The wood has an exceptional grain. The item has been carefully cleaned, showing honest signs of age and use, but nothing unusual for a second-hand object. Dimensions at the widest point: height 72.5 cm, width 110 cm, depth 58 cm.
