In wood and lacquered metal covered with black leather, enhanced with two hooks. Generally in good condition. From the 1950s. Jacques Adnet was a famous French decorator of the 20th century, associated with the Art Deco and Modernism movements. An architect, interior designer, and furniture creator. A member of "the Company of French Arts." He favours simple shapes and clean lines. His refined furniture is made from high-quality materials. From the 1930s, his designer furniture used new materials such as chrome metal and glass. Towards the end of the 1930s, he returned to a more traditional manufacturing style, drawing inspiration from past styles. After the 1945 war, he produced a new type of furniture with simple lines, rather masculine, often made of metal and leather, with a very high-quality finish.
