Tableau link of chain kinetic optical art signed by Patrick Dupré

Optical Art "Opart" kinetic panel signed Patrick Dupré "Chain Links", 1970s. Work engraved on aluminium that does not always have the same appearance depending on the light reflecting on it and the angle from which it is viewed. The frame is original and made of aluminium. Patrick Dupré participated in group exhibitions with Argentine artists from the "GRAV" group in the 1970s and 1974 (Research Group for Visual Art): Horacio Garcia Rossi - Luis Tomasello - Julio le Parc - ASIS - Hugo Demarco. The work is signed P. Dupré and dedicated to "Monsieur Gager". Frame: 50.5 X 50.5 cm. Overall good condition with some marks on the frame. The lower bar of the frame has been re-glued using two new "triangles" at the back on the lower corners (see photos).
