Vintage Swiss Visier table lamp from the space age by E. R. Nele for Temde, 1970s.

Very rare table lamp from the Swiss manufacturer Temde based on a design by Eva Renée Nele from the early 1970s. The most striking detail of this lamp is found in the design of the lamp head. Curved metal strips surround the lamp and can be moved along a common axis. This fan-shaped opening of the slats allows for control of the light emission. Furthermore, this functional detail has an ornamental character and leaves a lasting impact on the lamp with its changing appearance. The head of the lamp appears in almost organic shapes. The underside of the base is covered with a textile material to protect the respective surface. The cable visibly exits at the back of the light. It is in very good condition with signs of wear.
