Display cabinet Maison Capelle, France 1960s

Beautiful piece manufactured between the 1950s and 1960s by the Capelle house in Montauban. Structure, back, and legs in mahogany, Exterior in varnished mahogany veneer, interior in varnished sycamore veneer, Lower part closed by 2 opening doors with a golden lock and key. Display cases: 2 sliding doors, 1 half glass shelf. The 2 vertical glass sections are slightly angled in reverse, giving them a unique appearance. Finish of the slides with a brass strip, Tapered legs on adjustable golden brass feet. Very good overall condition. To note, a small dent at the bottom right that is not really noticeable (photo available). Beautiful colour contrasts thanks to the different types of wood.
