Pair of oscar furniture bookcases, circa 1955

Pair of bookcases dating from the 1950s, by didier rozaffy for the french manufacturing company oscar, bookcases and furniture by elements. At this time, oscar furniture was innovative, and was characterized by its ability to adapt, the elements being able to be divided, transformed and arranged in different ways. The company received the silver medal at the 10th milan triennale in 1953 and is recognized for its quality. The mahogany veneer set is made up of three levels, accommodating two wooden doors, a drop-down bar and interchangeable black and white glass doors. Edition: meubles oscar, circa 1955. Each piece of furniture measures 76 cm wide.
