Ice vase by Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala 3432 Gerania 1971-1980 Scandinavian Finland

Spectacular gerania vase signed by tapio wirkkala for iittala, a small production of the famous designer between the years 1971 and 1980. Massive, made of pressed glass with a sensational ice texture, it is curved at the waist and rests on 3 slightly raised feet. Great scandinavian design, at once poetic, elegant, raw and masterful. Signature engraved in the glass of tapio wirkkala, and number of this very small sentie 3431. In remarkable condition with a tiny burst of border not found among the ice reliefs. Beautiful, heavy and rare. Height 24cm, diameter at the widest 26cm.
