Pair of English Regency style chairs, white terry fabric

A charming and rare pair of english regency style chairs. They are very old, made of mahogany wood with pretty turned legs and an openwork back with carved patterns. Smoking room & gentlemen's club atmosphere, they will be perfect for bringing a vintage touch to your interior. The wood is completely stripped, treated, repaired, and given an extra matte finish. The seat has been completely redone: new jute straps, straw, foam & wadding padding, but above all the very trendy white terry fabric! These lovely vintage chairs will fit perfectly into an interior with wooden elements and elegant rugs. Some old repairs are still visible: at the back of one of the two chairs, screws strengthen the backrest. On the other, the sculpted motifs have been very discreetly solidified.
