A rare and gentle piece: sculpture signed ODYV, made by the Berlot-Mussier factory in Vierzon, active in the heart of the 20th century and renowned for its delicate artistic earthenware creations. This seated female figure, in ivory white crackled earthenware, embodies the poetry of late Art Deco: the restrained gesture, the curve of the back, the tilted head, the hands placed with an almost sculptural modesty. A work of great sensitivity, enhanced by period crackling and an original black lacquered base. A decorative piece of significant presence, ideal for a console, a minimalist shelf, or a contemporary interior where it will bring a touch of calm and grace. The Berlot-Mussier factory, established in 1927, produced ceramics until 1970. ODYV is the stamp of this factory and corresponds to the contraction of two first names: ODette, the daughter of Mussier, and YVonne, the sister of Berlot. This house is known for its high quality of modelling and its ability to capture feminine softness, clean lines, and contemplative attitudes. 📐 Details & dimensions. Each object is selected for its ability to create an emotion, to tell a story, and to enhance a space. This ODYV sculpture fits into this approach: a silent presence, discreet poetry, a beauty to be rediscovered.
