After taking over his father's factory, he created his own workshop in 1927, assisted by his collaborator fernand laurent (1885-1946). His production was devoted to cast decorative stoneware and he therefore focused his research on numerous experiments with clays and glazes, which notably benefited Raoul lachenal in 1924-1925, or lucien arnaud in the 1930s. He sold his business in 1956.
