Discover this unique coffee table, a masterpiece of 1970s interior design attributed to Pierre Giraudon. Made from shattered resin, this innovative material is characterised by its fractal appearance, offering a visually captivating texture and a sheen that varies with the angles of light. The oval top is meticulously crafted to incorporate inclusions of broken resin, creating a deliberately disordered effect that harmoniously blends with contemporary aesthetics. The table's base is made of chrome-plated steel, a choice that contrasts with the apparent fragility of the surface and provides undeniable strength and stability. Pierre Giraudon's design, while seemingly simple, embodies a deep reflection on functionality and aesthetics. The table stands out for its compact dimensions: 118 cm in length, 60 cm in width, and 38 cm in height, making it perfect for small spaces or to complement a living room furniture set. Although the top has a small chip on the underside of one of the corner ovals, this flaw is repairable and is invisible from the top side. It does not affect the overall integrity of the table and is imperceptible. It fits perfectly into a contemporary decor while adding a touch of retro.
