Antique tradesman's cabinet with 12 flap drawers + oak niche - 1930s

Beautiful vintage flap desk, an old notary's piece from the 1920s-1930s. Made of solid oak with a lovely honey patina, it consists of 6 levels with 12 flap drawers featuring their original brass label holders and small handles. Very practical, each flap tilts down to provide deep storage, ideal for papers, haberdashery, vinyl records, or linen. The open lower section forms a perfect niche for sliding in baskets, books, or a turntable. Solid wood, dovetail construction, and a moulded cornice at the top. An authentic item, unrefurbished, in its original state with natural patina. Small chip of wood on the right side.
