Lounge chair by the Finnish manufacturer Asko, based on a design by Ilmari Lappalainen from the 1960s. Presented here in a rare colour and with special upholstery. A simple and functional design made up of two parts: the frame and the seat or reclining surface. The ergonomic seat is simply inserted into the frame. The angle can be easily and manually adjusted to a reclined position. The frame of this Pulkka is black. The original coloured fabric contrasts with it. The uniqueness lies in its original striped upholstery, including the neck cushion. The foam and straps have been professionally replaced, and the original upholstery reapplied. The chair is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina, with some areas restored in the upholstery.
