Extendable Scandinavian style dining table with double elongations by Maison Ducau, Circa 1970

Vintage dining table, scandinavian, extendable finish striated teak veneer and mahogany, designed by maison ducau in cadillac between 1967 and 1970 of the nordic series (i contacted the manufacturer still in operation). Closed, the round shape of the table rests on a fantastic carved pedestal and has a diameter of 115 cm. Once opened, the pedestal divides into 2 halves, transforming the table into an oval shape, almost "capsule", resting on 2 pedestals ending in "v", .the table has 2 elongations, 1 integrated folding "butterfly" of 45 cm and a fixed second with songs of 55 cm.with the addition of the fixed elongation that can remain installed permanently (which I advise, the assembly can take a little time and requires 2 people to facilitate the assembly), the length is 170 cm. The 2nd integrated elongation is sliding for adjustment, it has a handle to lift it (see photo) it must be rotated by 45 degrate and is easily integrated with the other lengthened by lower hooks (see photos), the length becomes 215 cm. Can easily accommodate 8 to 10 people without the gene of a normal table that has 4 pieds.la table is in very good condition of vintage origin, slight signs, marks of use and patina on the set, lengthening and singing (see photos next to piece 1 centime for perspective). The pedestal foot has old marks, traces (see photo) and old repair / I think old wood chips on one of the 4 pedestals (see photos) on one foot. The table is solid and heavy, all the mechanisms work. To close the piece in its original form, slightly pressed on each side of the tray so that the extensions (lintels) fit perfectly. The pedestal is removable. The part is stamped by the manufacturer. My advice by its practical size kept it with the fixed extension cord is 170 cm for 6 to 8 people and open the butterfly lengthening to receive more people occasionally.
