Atollo oluce gold lamp 233 (medium)

Lamp icon of Italian design. Very good condition, some marks of use and a slight pointillist patina visible in the photos. Model 233\ medium = height 50 cm - diameter 38 cm. Irresistible in any interior. Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1977 for the Italian lighting company Oluce, the Atollo lamp is said to have completely revolutionized the image of the classic table lamp. Combining the geometric shapes of the cylinder, cone and hemisphere, the atollo luminaire is very refined and bold at the same time. Awarded the Compasso d'Oro Design Prize in 1979 and is part of the permanent collections of many major art museums.
