African Tribe. Magnificent handcrafted coffee table from Côte d'Ivoire, carved with a knife from solid iroko wood (the "African teak"). A unique piece, typical of Baoulé/Akan craftsmanship, featuring a frame rich in geometric patterns and traditional masks. Singular construction of the base, made of stacked blocks, in an architectural style reminiscent of totems. Joined by only 4 small dowels (one of which has been replaced). A beautiful traditional and contemporary piece, practical and functional: ) Length 90 cm. Depth 50 cm. Height 40 cm. The stool accompanies the table. Originating from Southeast Asia, it nonetheless evokes a West African style! Completely covered in woven rattan in a herringbone pattern, patinated and varnished. A lightweight, sturdy, and decorative piece that can serve as seating or a side table. Ø 32 cm X H. 40 cm.
