"Free Form" desk by Georges Frydman for EFA Circa 1950 Original oak veneer top. Black lacquered tubular metal base. 2 pedestals with brass handles. Like the designer, the piece is modernist, functionalist and inspired by the Bauhaus. Georges Frydman was born in France in 1924. He devoted himself to interior furnishings after meeting Le Corbusier. In 1954, he founded the Équipement Fonctionnel de l'Habitation which would become the EFA company.
