Vintage bedside lamp, solid wood base, tropical floral print lampshade, found in Alsace and brought up to date in my Strasbourg workshop. Retro Upcycled 50s/60s design handmade lamp, wooden base and printed lampshade. Estimated period of origin: 1950-1960 Origin: France Style (for the lamp base): simple, organic design highlighting natural materials, very characteristic of Scandinavian design and the Mid-Century Modern aesthetic which had a significant influence throughout Europe, including Alsace. New oval-shaped lampshade, chic tropical print.
