Lady lamp - Jeanne

Large table lamp made from an old white glass dame-jeanne and a woven textile lampshade from the 1970s. Its abstract design, featuring shades of ochre, rust, brown, khaki, and black on an ecru background, gives it a graphic and warm presence. Unlined, the open weave delicately allows light to pass through. Once the lamp is lit, the texture of the weave and the depth of the colours are revealed, while still maintaining the light tone of the lampshade. The contrast between the generous volume of the glass and the graphic nature of the textile makes it a unique piece, equally decorative when lit or unlit. The electrical wiring has been completely redone with a cord switch. CONDITION Good overall condition, consistent with its age.
