Art Nouveau navy blue barbotine bowl with raised floral decoration

Charming small slipware bowl (earthenware with applied decoration) in Art Nouveau style, early 20th century. The ovoid body, glazed in a beautiful deep navy blue, is adorned with a floral decoration in high relief: a large cream and pink five-petalled flower at the centre, olive green foliage, pink buds, and golden highlights accentuating the contours. Two pierced side handles, stylised as leaves, extend the line of the decoration. The piece rests on a small pedestal shaped like trilobed leaves. A beautiful antique piece with refreshing colours.
