McIntosh vintage Scandinavian teak sideboard — rare model

A very beautiful piece of vintage Scandinavian furniture, signed McIntosh, which I bought from Scandishop, a specialist in vintage Scandinavian furniture. This sideboard dates from the 1960s and is made of honey teak. It is a particularly elegant and sought-after model, with a very graphic line and this magnificent tapered leg typical of Scandinavian furniture from that era. I particularly love its details: • 3 drawers on each side, with rounded wooden handles that are almost sculpted. • 2 central doors with a vertical wooden grip. • a very beautiful grain of teak throughout the piece. • an airy base that gives it a real lightness despite its beautiful dimensions. The piece had been renovated and prepared by Scandishop before I purchased it. It then accompanied my interior for several years. 📐 Dimensions: 201 × 45 × 77 cm. The piece is in good overall condition and perfectly functional. It currently shows some minor scratches and signs of use, particularly related to everyday life. They are consistent with the age of the piece and do not detract from its charm, but I prefer to mention them transparently. An authentic vintage piece, with much more character than a contemporary reproduction. 📍 To be collected in Vincennes.
