Commode Transition stamped by François Daidé, with a white marble top.

Elegant chest of drawers in the Transition style of Louis XV – Louis XVI, stamped François Daidé (FD). It is made of veneered wood with a refined geometric decoration and a central floral medallion. The undulating front opens with two drawers and rests on curved feet adorned with gilded bronze. The piece features a superb moulded white marble top. The FD stamp is visible underneath the marble. Overall, it is in very good condition and has a beautiful decorative presence. Notable points: some wear and usage marks, small chips/missing parts visible at the lower part of the front uprights.
