Vittsjö Luxus floor lamp, 1970s

Scandinavian floor lamp designed by Uno & Östen Kristiansson for Luxus Vittsjö (Sweden) in the 1970s. The structure is made of solid pine wood. The curved upper arm slides vertically along the main mast to adjust the height and position of the light source. The wooden structure is preserved in optimal condition with minimal signs of wear, consistent with its age and use. The conical lampshade has been professionally redone using a beige boucle fabric that replicates the exact dimensions and pattern of the original component. * Wiring & Authenticity: The lamp retains its original black plug with the stamped Luxus logo (designed in the shape of a pine), which serves as a guarantee of its authenticity. The original two-wire cable is functional. Inside the wooden mast, the two-wire cable has separated from its internal guiding groove. This detail is not visible from the outside and is only noticeable when the lamp is disassembled. It fits a standard E27 bulb. * Technical note: The original octagonal foot switch is included to preserve the historical integrity of the piece, although it sometimes fails and may require replacement for everyday practical use.
