Magnificent chinese covered vase from the qing dynasty. This one is from the tonghzi period (1862-1874). This can be certified by signature (visible on photo) Vase shaped ovoide points at the bottom with a lid. Covered vase very great charm, hand painted and has been very well preserved for its time! Having previously belonged to a private collection. Very good condition: none cracks no chip no damage, only small faded color and stain like the images. Tongzhi was the tenth emperor of the qing dynasty to rule china. Ascended to the throne at the age of five in 1861, he died of syphilis at the age of eighteen in 1875. During his reign, his mother cixi, and advisor zeng guofan attempted to restore imperial power.
