Copper and rosewood lamp attributed to Werner Schou, Denmark 1960s

This striking Danish mid-century pendant lamp, by layered composition and material,  closely resembles Werner Schou designs from the 1960s. The overall size is 18 cm in height and 36 cm in diameter. The lamp is constructed from a series of concentric rings made of copper and rosewood, creating a sculptural, tiered silhouette. The warm tones of the copper, subtly aged with a natural patina, contrast elegantly with the rich grain of the rosewood, resulting in a refined and harmonious material combination. Its multi-layered design is not only decorative but also functional—carefully arranged elements diffuse the light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm, ambient glow.
