Vintage sugar bowl from the Villeroy & Boch "Ma Pomme" collection

Charming earthenware sugar bowl by Villeroy & Boch – Mettlach, Made in Germany, from the famous Ma Pomme collection. We find its hand-painted decoration with plump apples and green foliage, emblematic of this joyful and gourmet line from the 1960s and 70s. With its two sculpted handles and its lid topped with a raised apple, this piece exudes the conviviality of family tables. Stamped Villeroy and Boch. Height 11 cm including the lid, 7 cm without the lid, diameter including handles 14 cm. Beautiful vintage condition. The apple seems to have been reglued but restoration barely visible and there is a small chip on the lid very barely visible when the lid is placed (visible in photo), very shiny. A charming piece that will delight lovers of retro tableware and decorative earthenware. It will easily find its place in a rustic chic kitchen or on a collection shelf.
