Made in denmark produced by holger christiansen and designed by illum wikkelsø, a beautiful and very rare original 3 person sofa upholstered in soft brown leather featuring loose cushions on the seat, backrest and armrest. All the cushions are filled with feather down and can be removed for easy cleaning. Danish furniture designer illum wikkelsø (1919 -1999) believed that furniture should be built to last, to indulge the body and the please the eye. He belonged to a group of designers who represented the golden age of danish design during the 1950, s and 1960, s. With his clear design aesthetic and deep understanding of materials, he was one of the key protagonists to make danish design style an international phenomenon.
