Fantastic set of four dining chairs, model 193, designed by Inger Klingenberg and manufactured by France & Søn, Denmark, in 1960. These chairs feature a striking sculptural design and solid teak construction. The standout characteristic is the curved backrests, echoed by the unusual curved seats, designed and mounted to appear floating on the base. The rare seat shape was designed with ergonomics in mind, making the chairs very comfortable. The solid wood frame is refined and simple, allowing the upholstered seat to stand out visually. The set was recently reupholstered in full aniline leather and is marked with the manufacturer’s label. This playful and elegant set is a unique addition to any modern home, office, or interior.
