2 old library armchairs – Solid wood

Authentic low armchair from the furniture of an old media library, probably produced in the 1970s/1980s by the French collective manufacturer MMO. Design & Aesthetics: A strong architectural look: Typical of the brutalist and modernist movement of the 70s. Designer Lineage: With its clean geometric lines, sled base, and solid wood construction, this armchair strongly resembles the style of Maison Regain, Rainer Daumiller, as well as the creations of Pierre Chapo, Charlotte Perriand, and Sentou editions. A retro, minimalist, and very graphic piece that fits perfectly into a contemporary interior. Quality of Manufacture: Originally designed for public orders and intensive use in media libraries, the structure is heavy, perfectly stable, and built to last a lifetime. Materials: Structure in light solid wood (beech or pine) and seat in thick high-quality plywood. Condition: Very good state of preservation with a beautiful patina of use that adds to its vintage charm. No fragility. Decor Advice: Ideal for creating a warm reading nook, a bedroom, or a living room. It offers superb decorative potential, especially if you add a large textured cushion (boucle wool, linen, or corduroy). To be collected on site.
