With many display cabinets from the 1960s, the emphasis is on decoration. With this piece, the focus is on proportion, material, and detailing. The slender body is finished in walnut veneer with a beautifully flamed pattern that continues over the top and side panels. The warm wood grain forms a nice contrast with the slim chrome legs, making the furniture almost appear to float above the floor. The two glass sliding doors are made of dark tinted glass, keeping the contents visible without drawing all the attention. Ideal for ceramics, glassware, books, or a collection of objects you want to display but not fully expose. Inside, there is a shelf that can be placed at three different heights, allowing the layout to be easily adjusted to what you want to store or display. We have carefully renovated this display cabinet in our workshop. Old finishes have been removed, the veneer has been hand-sanded, and then treated with a matte furniture oil. This brings out the natural depth of the walnut wood again without losing its original appearance. With your purchase, you will receive maintenance instructions and matching furniture oil to keep the piece in top condition. A versatile piece of furniture that fits just as easily in a mid-century interior as in a calm contemporary interior where material and form play the main role. Height 78.5 cm Width 100 cm Depth 33 cm.
