Bench, roller daybed in chiseled wood and ocher velvet, mid-19th century

Bench, daybed dating from the mid-19th century composed of two sides with a chiseled wooden roller frame featuring plant lines and scrolls with two squares of wadding covered with ocher velvet and gilded and patinated upholstery nails, a rectangular backrest of the same composition as the sides with a back also covered in ocher velvet, a generously padded rectangular seat for unrivaled seating comfort and two ocher velvet bolsters to dress the seat. Strong and stable, we completely shampooed the entire velvet to remove stains and clean it. The wood, for its part, shows some discreet traces of time which we have blurred with tinting wax. Ideal in a living room, in a bedroom or in any other room in the house, this bench will find its place in any type of interior and will bring a vintage and colorful touch to your decoration.
