Dish and 11 dessert plates in porcelain by Chapus Frères Limoges.

Dessert service, comprising a cake plate and 11 dessert plates, made of Limoges porcelain stamped Chapus Frères (c.f.) Limoges (manufacture active from 1928 to 1977). Vintage from the 1930s-40s. Decorated with a border of stylised geometric and floral motifs in gold, enhanced with a relief of fluting; almond green, white, and ivory background. No damage except for a chip on the back of one plate, worn gilding on the edges, intact gilding on the decoration, a few small areas of discolouration in the green (see detail photos), no signs of use (scratches, rubbing). Dimensions: plate / diam. 25.5 cm (27 cm with handles); plate / diam. 18 cm.
