Large rosewood executive desk by Ico Parisi for MIM Roma.

ERROR IN THE TITLE, it is made of rosewood. Magnificent vintage executive desk designed by Italian architect and designer Ico Parisi and produced in 1958 by MIM Roma (Mobili Italiani Moderni). This centerpiece of Mid-Century modernist design stands out for its high-end architectural lines and meticulous finishes: Top: Large top with cut corners in rosewood veneer, revealing a very graphic and warm dark grain. Storage: Double suspended cabinet composed of original storage drawers, offering a nice working capacity. Structure: Tubular legs and corner brackets in polished aluminum cast and lacquered metal, typical of Italian productions of the time. Modularity: The back of the piece is perfectly finished, allowing it to be placed in the center of a room (middle desk). Condition: Very good overall vintage condition. The structure is perfectly stable. The top shows slight usage scratches or minor discolorations consistent with its age / absence of original keys, but the drawers open perfectly. Dimensions: Length: 180 cm. Depth: 90 cm. Height: 72 cm.
