Exceptional and rare set of polychrome enamelled earthenware, born from the collaboration between the famous Breton painter and ceramist René Quéré (1932-2021) and the prestigious art manufacture Keraluc in Quimper. Made in the mid-20th century (1950s-1960s), this lot fully embodies the Breton modernist style and Mid-Century design. The vibrant and clean graphics beautifully illustrate the maritime landscapes dear to the artist. Each piece features a unique hand-painted decoration representing scenes of Breton ports, fishing boats at dock, and the Finistère coastline. The lot consists of 7 coordinated pieces: • 1 large presentation plate / shallow bowl (diam: 23 cm) • 6 matching bowls / shallow plates (diam: 12 cm), each with different and complementary decorations. Each piece is duly signed by hand on the reverse "R. Quéré" and bears the famous stylized stamp of the manufacture "Keraluc Quimper." Condition: Very good overall condition. The 6 bowls of 12 cm are in absolute new condition, with no defects. The large presentation plate of 23 cm is in superb aesthetic freshness; it simply has a very discreet small chip on its outer edge (see detail photo), which is common for earthenware from this era. No cracks, no restoration. Delivery: Extremely careful shipping, individually wrapped in bubble wrap + double cardboard. Transport via specialized services of the platform.
