Vitrin Vase, Stig Lindberg for Gustavsberg

The Vitrin series was created around 1956 for Gustavsberg as part of an effort to modernize production techniques and make high-quality artistic pieces accessible to a wider audience. It comprises 14 monochrome stoneware pieces—11 vases and 3 bowls—all characterized by slender silhouettes and clean lines. Featured in several major Lindberg exhibitions, it is now considered a prime example of 1950s Scandinavian design.
