Glazed earthenware wall mirror created by Les Quatre Potiers in their Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye workshop in the mid-1960s. Square in shape with rounded corners, it features a thick frame adorned with a hand-painted design of small stylized red, blue, and green flowers on a creamy white background. This naive and regular motif, applied with a brush over a matte glaze, reflects the popular and poetic vocabulary of the collective, founded in 1956 and known for reinterpreting the Nièvre pottery tradition in a free and warm spirit. Between decorative art and craftsmanship, this mirror expresses the sincere and joyful simplicity of post-war French design. France, Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye, circa 1965. Condition: Good vintage condition, with minor enamel irregularities and wear from use.
