"french school of the end of the nineteenth, landscape at the river, animated by a character." Beautiful french school from the end of the 19th century. Our painting represents a landscape. In the foreground a peaceful river crossing the land, on the right a female figure taking a path. This oil on canvas was made in very soft tones. It is sold in a golden frame decorated with stucco moldings representing foliage. Note two small gaps at the bottom of the left corner (see photo). Dimensions: frame: 34.5 cm X 48 cm canvas: 26 cm X 39 cm.
