Vintage French cold painted brass table lamp cream diamond pattern shade

Beautiful vintage french empire style brass cold painted table lamp with cream shade dating from the 1920s. The lamp base is round with a pretty leaf and beaded detail and has been cold painted in black with gold highlights showing through. The shade is more modern and been added at a later date it is round in cream with a diamond pattern and rim to the top and bottom. The lamp is in good working order with a yellow colour flex brown toggle on/off switch and black 2 pin european plug and takes & large bayonet bulb b22. The brass is in good condition with lovely deep aged patina. The shade does have some marks associated with a used item of its kind.
