Vintage brass table lamp, circa 1940s - 1950s

Vintage table lamp / desk lamp in brass, dating from the 1940s-1950s. The lamp base is made of solid brass; its stand features a design reminiscent of turned wood, echoing the classic shape of a candlestick or baluster foot (see photos). This aesthetic is characteristic of European design from the 1940s and 1950s. The lampshade has a linen-like texture; it is in a classic conical shape and white in colour, adorned with delicate golden trims on the edges (see photos). The overall appearance of the lamp is both timeless, rustic, and elegant. The lamp is in very good original condition; it shows slight marks and signs of use related to age, as well as a superb patina across the entire structure, base, stem, and lampshade (see photos). It is fully functional and requires a B-22 bayonet cap bulb (not included). The lamp retains its original cord (length over 250 cm), its on/off switch, and its plug (see photos).
