Vintage trivet in glazed ceramic and wood, circa 1960-1970.

Beautiful vintage trivet from the 1960s-1970s, made of a large glazed ceramic tile with geometric and abstract patterns in beige, green, and brown tones, featuring a lovely texture and slightly raised glaze. The frame and base are made of dark wood. Handcrafted, likely French, reminiscent of the style of certain ceramists from Vallauris, or possibly German, in the spirit of mid-century organic modernism. It can also serve as wall decor, with a rear hook to be added. Measures 23x23cm with a height of 3cm. Very good overall condition, with a clean glaze; the ceramic shows slight natural cracks from use, and there are a few discreet signs of age on the wood. Weighs approximately 750g.
