Vintage Art Glass Bowl, Hand Blown Murano Style, Yugoslavia 1960s, Large Centerpiece

Large Vintage Murano Style Art Glass Bowl, Hand-Blown Amber & Blue Glass, Yugoslavia 1960s–1970s, 45 cm Centrepiece An impressive vintage hand-blown glass bowl from Yugoslavia, dating to the 1960s–1970s. With its elongated shape, sweeping curves and upturned ends, this elegant piece makes a striking centrepiece even when displayed empty. The glass combines warm honey-amber and smoky olive-brown tones, deepening into rich blue towards the base. Clear glass around the sculptural foot catches the light and highlights the flowing form. Its colours shift in intensity with the light and viewing angle, revealing the depth of the thick glass. Measuring 45 cm in length and weighing a substantial 2.2 kg, this is a generously sized piece with a beautiful presence on a dining table, sideboard or coffee table. Decorative glass like this was a familiar and much-loved feature of Yugoslav homes during the 1960s and 1970s. Today, its expressive shape brings that same mid-century character to contemporary interiors.
