Thank you in advance for taking the time to read the entire description and to view the photos on a screen that does not cut them off. I strive to provide as many details as possible, so take advantage of it. The Mado buffet was an essential piece of furniture in the 1950s. This is the low model that often accompanied a large two-part buffet. It is distinguished by its rounded lines and the originality of its legs. Its depth offers good storage capacity, and it can be used in a bathroom to hold a basin. Despite its age, this piece of furniture is in good condition (one leg has been re-glued, see photo). It is clean inside, without stains, and has a few signs of use on the outside (see photos). The door closures work, and the lovely handles are original. I am offering this piece of furniture as is. For an additional fee, I can paint the top (40€ if a colour is chosen from my stock, 90€ if paint is purchased). For between 200 and 350€, the piece can be fully renovated. It can be painted in the colour of your choice (fully painted or leaving some parts in wood), with or without patterns (decoupage, stencils). The shelves and/or doors can be upholstered. The price reflects the cost of materials (quality paint: Comptoir de la Seigneurie Gauthier) and the time required for a careful renovation: sanding, primer, two coats of paint, wallpaper application… See what I can achieve by checking the latest photos in the listing.
