Limoges porcelain compote A303

Very beautiful Limoges porcelain compote, in milky white, bordered with a golden rim featuring a stylised ear motif, itself bordered with a midnight blue line and a second golden line, Empire style. The foot presents identical decoration. Also noteworthy are three golden lines under the bowl of the compote, a sign of refinement. The foot is slender and fine, which enhances the elegant character of the piece. This compote is timeless, classic, very elegant, and will harmonise with all types of tableware. It will beautifully display fruits, pastries, chocolates, etc. It can also be presented as decoration. In very good overall condition, although the golden decoration may show minute signs of use in some places, this does not detract from the beauty of the dish; on the contrary, it adds patina, charm, and contributes to the beauty of the object.
