Produced by Bruno Chiarini in the 1950s, this chandelier reflects the refined material sensibility characteristic of early post-war Italian lighting. Its combination of opaline glass forms and finely treated brass embodies the elegant restraint and visual clarity associated with Milanese production of the period. Crafted in white opaline glass and fine gold–washed brass, the chandelier features a balanced radial composition with gently curved diffusers mounted on tapered brass arms. The interplay between the soft luminosity of the glass and the warm tone of the metal highlights the quality and precision typical of Chiarini’s workshop. Bruno Chiarini was an Italian lighting manufacturer active in Milan during the 1950s and early 1960s, a period marked by rapid experimentation and growth in modern Italian design. Operating as a producer rather than a designer, Chiarini specialized in creating refined brass and glass lighting fixtures that reflected the material elegance of the time.
