Glass and brass chandelier by Bruno Chiarini, 1950s

Produced by Bruno Chiarini in the 1950s, this chandelier reflects the refined material sensibility characteristic of early post-war Italian lighting. Its combination of opaline glass forms and finely treated brass embodies the elegant restraint and visual clarity associated with Milanese production of the period. Crafted in white opaline glass and fine gold–washed brass, the chandelier features a balanced radial composition with gently curved diffusers mounted on tapered brass arms.
