Thonet bistro chair

Bistro chair by Thonet model nr.56, a classic among bistro chairs by Michael Thonet, the famous creator of bentwood seats. It can be recognized by its backrest with very slightly flared straight uprights joined by a pin-shaped arch crossing. First time in the catalog in 1895. It is made of natural wood with a period patina, its canework was renovated in the traditional way. Late 19th century period. Collectible label visible.
